From Elite Athlete: Krissy Moehl

Krissy Moehl is a top ultramarathon runner with 100+ races and 55 wins to her name. In addition to racing, she stays active in the running community by coaching, writing (Running Your First Ultra), and race directing Chuckanut 50k. Injury prevention is critical to Krissy’s success and she relies on Pro-Tec’s line of products to keep her on the move. A few of their bands, primarily the Patellar Tendon Strap and IT Band Compression Wrap, have been the solution to help her reach the finish line of a couple of key races (namely the Grand Slam 2005) and aided in keeping her training when her knees threatened to flare up.  In 2017 she had an ankle sprain that took her out for 6 weeks. For her recovery, she turned to the 3D Flat Ankle Support which offered compression and a good reminder when I did get back to running. Additionally Krissy uses Pro-Tec’s entire line of massage, icing and heating products proactively to help prevent injury.
